Thread: BRRRRRR!!! cold weather

Well it's going to get really cold for Alabama the next few days. So what are ya'll doing to protect the lower unit on your rig. I took a heating pad and wrapped it around the lower part of the foot and secured it with a rubber strap. Then wrapped an old coat around that and tied it with a rope. Maybe that will keep it from freezing and busting. Some of you lucky ones have a climate controlled garage to keep them in. But I just have a shed to park under no sides just a top.

5 deg. here at Weiss this morning. Took wife to work and noticed there are no waiting lines at ramps. At least we have no snow, and for all you guys that do please be safe.
