That one ole boy hit us at a good time Greg. I know he and his Fam will enjoy those fish. LOL I would have went home just a bragging to the wife on what a good day I had. LOL He was coming in at dark and I know he tried his best out there to catch a few and when he said I only caught one. It was good to give to a fellow fisherman who did'nt catch many. And I feel much better about cleaning the 30 i already have iced down this morning. LMBO

Good Grief. The respect and amazement I have for folks that go out in this stuff, and then catch a limit, is off the charts. I used to think I could learn a lot here, but man......I think maybe I just need to sit in the 'back of the boat' and smile at the Pros. I've done this crappie thing, off and on, for over 40 years. It's like I haven't learned a thing.

But these old boys have. Wowzers and amen!

Keep the pictures coming. I'm GOING to catch a few this year, I promise. But as for living on Top of The Heap, I'll have to do that vicariously.

I DO wonder if you guys are married, though..........

I have fished many rods and can say the ozark 10 ft has great sensitivity and is very light weight, especially with my solo reel on it. I have fished the 11 ft ozark but it is a little heavier. The down side on the 10 ft is the ability to lift a good fish in the boat. The 11 ft has more back bone to lift heavier fish in without a net. Russ got me using the 10 ft and I really like it.

The Ozark 10 footer is the toughest, lightest, most sensitive jigging rod on the market...The titanum tip is made to go down and punch that jig out. The strike coming up a 10 foot ozark is like being struck by thunder. The rear seated model lets me use the entire length of the rod for reach in vertical jigging. Get ahold of my buddy Don Blakely/or PM Conway on here if you live in central AR. My sponsor Bates Field and Stream also sell them on the shelf. But call first to make sure thay have some because they fly out the door so fast when they get em in. I also think Meatgetter sells them down in SE arkansas. These guys on here will back me up on the 10 foot Ozark. Trust Us they are CrappiePro approved.

I prefer a 11 footer in bigger boats in open water fishing brush.
