I have a son thinking about come to bama to school or even south Alabama. If he dose I may move over there also. Where are some of the best lake there for crappie fish? If he decide to come there I will not be to far behind him.

Well, if he goes to Tuscaloosa then you could move there and be within an hours drive of lake Tuscaloosa or Bankhead, Holt lake and the black warrior runs right thru town. Within an hour and a half you could reach the Alabama river at Gees Bend or Lewis Smith, Logan Martin, Lay lake, Aliceville.
And just a little farther over to the west ino Mississippi there's Granada, Sardis and that chain. Best wishes to y'all and Roll Tide just as a little hint as to my opinion.

I sure like to be within 30 min to hour of some good lakes. I try to fish 3 to 4 time a week. Do you'll spider rig fish over there or single pole. I got to get me a book to learn the rules for there.

I single and spider rig. All according to where I'm fishing.
