Welcome, lots of good folks here, their are also a lot of lurkers who don't know what they are missing by not stepping up to the plate and participating. Maybe your testimony will bring some of those out of the dark.

Single pole mafiaEagle 1 LIKED above post
Two years ago I was strictly a single pole guy . Nothing wrong with that , as I still prefer that way of fishing. However, after pulling cranks with FEELAY and BRM , Spider rigging with help from kdavid and crappie logic ,picking "G" brain about everything, I have developed a new outlook at what crappie fishing is to many people . you may fish from a 500 dollar rig to a 150.000 dollar rig and this site will be a plus to your knowledge bank ! I am terrible with names but after one spring camp , I started to associate faces to where people fish most . I will say that I never intended to tournament fish but have tried it once and found that walking around looking at boat set ups and rigged poles while the weigh in was going on may have been the most beneficial day that I have had on the water in the last two yrs. . My dad told me years ago that if you want to learn how to do something right , go to the source ! You are there . These guys are great . I am most likely the low man on this totem pole of crappie fishermen , but the amount of fish in the freezer sure has gone up in the last two yrs .If you look at this site and picture postings you will see who catches fish most often, then pay close attention to their post . There are many on here that have helped me and I would not even recognize them on the street . I have c.c stickers on my boat, trailer and cap so if you see these give me a shout .![]()

Thanks to everyone! I do hope to meet some of you in the near future and will be glad to learn new things about crappie fishing from anyone willing to pass their knowledge to me. Thanks again!
BTW, to all of you from or near Tate Co. especially Senatobia, MS, my real name is Ike. Let me know if any of you already know me so that I can maybe put a real name with your crappie.com name.
Welcome to the board. And like you I have way more days without any fish then catching fish. But will not give up on fishing. Because I love to fish not catch HEHE
