Here in Chicago heights Illinois we got 2 ft of snow. So I'm in the basement tying. Pretty simple jigs that have worked for me. Thought I would refill my stock. Please give me some feedback. Good or bad.

Hey monark...do you have pics of the jig you sent in the swap. It catches fish. Caught three slabs yesterday!![]()

Glad to see it can hunt. This is a color I use on Clinton lake here in Illinois that works good for me. This is for you scrapper.

Those will all do the job, and well tied. The top left two in the first pic are real nice. Might try a strip or two of something flashy on the sides, but not much or it will lose the class it now has. Second one in the bottom pic is also nice, wouldn't change a thing. For just starting out your ties are really good. The thread neck might use some extra Sally's or cement to keep it from unraveling. I use one very similar to that and it works excellent on some days. It started out as a store bought that I copied. Sometime its nice to grab a few when a trip sneaks up on you and you don't have any time for the vise. You better make some room somewhere, cause you'll be having a bunch of materials one day soon, keep it up.
