    Caught a nice bait casting rod and reel in the main lake on the north end. Looked like it had been there for awhile. Describe it, and it is yours. I won't even charge for cleaning.,

    That's much better than I usually do. Besides, I think that catching a rod is much easier than building one. What kills me is that anything you catch out of the lake and take home, needs cleaning. I'm beginning to think seriously about catch and release.

    Yes, I think I can clean it up and it be fine. It was locked up, but I've got it to the point the handle will turn. I haven't checked to see if the drag or anything works. I've never seen a reel like the one that was on it. Doesn't appear to be an expensive reel. I'll look it up online and see.
