Thread: What I gave everyone for Christmas

I did basically the same thing with some of my father's old jigs and gave them to his sisters.

How do you suspend it?

Have seen that before and yes love the idea. I made some feather earrings a few years back and someone was doing that then. Nice job!

There is fly tying red wire, I ran it around the fly after several tries found to balance point, knotted the wire and came up through the metal bulb top and knotted around the wire loop. Trouble was it kept getting in a funky angle and not in the center of the bulb. Took some trial and error. Tried using string but balance point was just to tricky. Intent was red and green and white with sparkle! I added the hour glass eyes and the shiny brass ones with clear red eyes looked great but the pics did not come out.
