I have always went with a guide to the coop from the La. side. Well my friend knew the way to the Texas side launch right there at the coop. We left at 4:00 AM and got to Toledo Town at about 6:45. Got some shiners and headed for the launch. Well, my friend evidently did NOT know the way to the launch and passed it up big time. After asking for directions, we made it to the launch about an hour late. Got to the coop and started fishing at 8:00. caught well right away, but gradually tapered off later that morning. Left at 2:30 with 34. All in all, a good day. Good size fish also. I think if we would have gotten started on time, we would have picked up 10 more or so.
