    Yep.....I would get one with a longer shaft though....comes in handy when trolling in the wind and the front of the boat going up and down....can get motor deeper in the water. If your going to pull cranks I recommend a 24 volt 80 lb. thrust though. I love mine, don't know how I ever did without it.

    It's was most certainly worth the monie to me. I had it on my g3 and will have it on my bay series I'm looking at. I like being able to control the trolling motor from anywhere on the boat.

    You will get a lot more run time with a 24 volt vs a 12v.

    Then if you have room for the extra battery the 80 pound is the way to go, had a 55 on my first rig and had to have a kicker even with 2 batts in parralel.
