I'd say it is a heck of a deal for some one wanting to get started. I have inexpensive stuff so I don't know what quality the vise is, but all that stuff plus the table sounds good to me.

Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
I would jump all over that a kit for bass pro shop come with a lot less then that for 75.00 buck
its a terra rotary vice i live aways away will be a couple of weeks before i could even get there to buy it. maybe will if he stll has it then
That looks like a Peak vice from what I can see. If that is the case it is a 200.00 dollar vice by itself. Even if it is an Apex it is still a 110.00 dollar vice. Figure approximately 1.50 a spool for the thread and I would say that you are coming out smelling like roses. If it was closer I would try and figure out a way to get it.

It is a Terra - and alot of folks have had trouble with them. If you were going to kick out that kind of cash - I'd get a starter tying kit from Crazy Angler Tackle $37 http://stores.crazyanglertackle.com/...ING/Detail.bok YOU GET IN THIS KIT THE AA VISE A STANDARD FLARED BOBBIN,SICCORS,2 COLORS OF THREAD,2 COLORS OF MARABOU AND 2 COLORS OF OUR NEWAGE CHENILLE JUST LIST THE COLORS OF ITEMS YOU WANT IN THE COMMENT SECTION WHEN YOU ORDER ALSO LIST HEAD SIZR 1/8 OR 1/16 ! SIMPLE
You can get a wood fold out TV tray from WalMart for 15-20. If you find you like tying jigs you could spend the rest of the money on ALOT of materials - If you find you don't want to you can post it for sale here on the site, and people knowing you got it from Crazy Angler you wouldn't have a problem selling it. You can break it down and out of the way the wife will be happy. Fairly cheap way to find out if you'll like it or not.
I tie on a Walmart fold out wood TV tray -
I have a lot of storage for my materials, but I said that to say I tie on a regular fold out 6' table like you see at every school function or at some indoor gatherings. I do have a very nice tying station that I use, but my vise is clamped to that table, or at least a 2x6 that we made to attach to the table and not be as high as the table top. Don't need a fancy table for sure, but great tools and good materials is where it's at!
here is a picture taken before I added the drop down 2x6 and you can see what I mean by the table and how I have my station in front of the vise.
