    Default Getting Ready To Go

Thought I would show you what I did during the snow and ice a couple of weeks ago. I also tied several flies for fishing for brim.

Photo #3 is what Nimrod suggested to me, so I thought I would put a few of them together also. I used a mixture of kip tail, marabou, chenille and one with calf tail.

Looks good. Did you pour those jigs yourself? I haven't seen too many crappie jigs with weed guards. Do they really help from getting hung up so much? Thanks.

D10, no I did not pour these jigs but got them from Grouse Fly. Crappiepappy got me started on using the weed guards and yes I do think they help for the way I enjoy fishing them. I like using a single pole and dipping them down into anything that looks fishy.

Those jigs look great. D10 I fish the big 4 in Mississippi most of the time and the jigs with weed guards is all I use. They work !!
