Default I will soon be back, I hope....

It has just about killed me just sitting around doing nothing. No Crappie, no deer, no doves, but lots of TV. I did make the Crappie.com slabfest in early November against my doctor and my wife's wishes. I made it fine as I had my ole pal Fred(The Bull) with me to do all the lifting and jerking. It was good making it down to Talquin one more time.

I am over surgery and scheduled to finish my treatments on January 2nd. I am going to give myself 2 weeks to recover and gain some energy and then off to some super Crappie hole for about a week. I think I am going down to the Crescent City area and fish Crescent, Dead Lake, and the St John's for Specs.

Hope to see all yall on the water this Winter, Spring, and Summer. Look for the Red War Eagle wid the Merc on the rear. There can't be that many red boats with a Big G all over it.

May the force be with all of us as we get older........
