I believe that the good book is pretty plain on the subject, so I'll stick with it... As for Phil.. I say "that a boy"... Tell em what you think- I am sure there is a TV station that would love to have the income from Duck Dynasty...(just my opinion here)

which chapter of DU are you with? About 15 years ago Phil came and spoke at our DU banquet, the only way he would speak is if there was NO alcohol what so ever it was the first DU Banquet that I am aware of that didn't have Budweiser there. a few of us had the pleasure of spending the day with him and shooting some sporting clays together. That man is a lot of fun to be around and truly is a man of god. And he's pretty good shot too!

Neither side is wrong in what they did. He had and still has the right to say what he wants and they have the right to get rid of him. They didn't stop him from saying what he wants. He can still talk all he wants--he just won't be employeed by A&E. Whether or not it was the "right" decision though can be debated. I suspect neither side is really that worried about it. Both did fine before DD.

are you saying that you believe its ok for a person to be fired from their job because he/she does not have the same beliefs on an issue that a higher up has?? for instance.. say i got interviewed, for some strange reason, and asked what did i think was wrong with this world and i said,

"well, when you take God out of everything, accept/overlook everything that the bible teaches, not to mention this country was founded on those beliefs,...this is what you have left." ,

and it offended people in my workplace when they heard my beliefs, that it is "ok" for me to be fired for answering the queston honestly?




i personnly think they knew what the answers would be and thats why they ask them? it was a publicity/money making stunt and it always seems like the media trys to fry any man that is strong in his christian faith and shares it.

The sad truth is that if we boycott A and E, we might as well just turn off the TV. Every network has the same lack of morals. Heck, the only so-called right wing channel on TV, Fox News, is who busted Hank Jr. for stating his beliefs.

Anytime you mention God, Prayer, Morals, discipline your kids, the flag, your going to have a problem. People in this country have made hero's & stars out of the most degenerate people of our time. They have tv shows, movies etc. How does a handful out weigh millions? I'm from the Old School, and I think I' just plain wrong. I don't watch any of their shows.
