Thx for the kind words
Hopefully will get back to tying after fishing slows. It's just too good to sit behind a desk right now.

That's all powder paint. It is not sprayed.
The paint is "tapped" on using a paint brush after the jig head has been heated or reheated. I was taught by people I consider mentors. They are downright innovative.
You simply dip diff brushes in your powder and tap the stem to sprinkle powder over the head. Not hard but takes a bit of practice to get used to how your paint will come off diff kinds if brushes with diff paints. The brushes I like best are horse hair. Multi colored heads are not necessary, but it's the part I enjoy the most. Give it a shot. If you need any help send me a PM and I'll help as best as I can. Can also find videos on YouTube.

That head is from my buddy's custom made mold. Unfortunately, he no longer pours heads for sale.
