I know this isn't crappie related, but I know you guys like boats. My buddy, Ory Mendoza, in Plaquemine has been at it again. He's not happy just building putt-putt batueus.
I printed some pictures he wanted so he could showcase some of the wildlife we all see in the basin from time to time. Notice I said SOME. The pirogue would have to be 70 feet long to show everything! Here's one shot, but to see all 20, here's a link to my facebook album. https://www.facebook.com/pbouy/media...=3&uploaded=20
If you have problems viewing them, let me know and we'll work around it. Enjoy!

GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
Very nice, love it![]()
I think you have to be a friend to view FB albums, but here's a link to my site that I KNOW works. Sorry about that.

Tell your friend that is one fine piece of craftsmanship.

Very, very nice work. Not many folks do that down here anymore. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the pictures Paul. It's good to see that somebody still knows how to make an all cypress pirogue. Cypress is such a fine lumber to work with. Tell your buddy Congrats, a job well done.

He does build for people. If you're interested, I'll ask him. If so, I'll message you with his number. It won't be cheap though. A wise man once told me: Good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't good.

If it was mine it would be. I'd never put it in the water although I know it'll float.
