    Default Jack Millers/Pat's Bay

    Hey Guys,
Dad and I made a midday trip this weekend to the Pat’s Bay area and caught about a dozen pretty nice fish…they all appear to be male fish to me. I say “Pat’s Bay Area” because some were caught in Pat’s Bay and some in the canals off of Pat’s Bay on the Northern most end. Every time I thought I had a pattern figured out the fish would stop and I would move to another spot. Every fish was caught around a Cypress tree in about 3 feet of water on black or red and black hair jigs. The water in Grand River is high and the color changes as you move around, and seems to be falling pretty fast.
    Good fishing!

Thanks for the report. We were going Saturday, but the oak tree pollen put me down. Still not right but getting there. I'm taking some vacation next week and plan to hit them Wed, Thur AND Fri. Hope my plans don't fall through. LOL
Let me know when you head out there again. We might could double-team them.

Nice looking fish! We tried Pigeon the other day and struck out. Will have to try the Jack Millers area soon. Thanks for the pics.

Nice. I went to Bull Tail on Sunday, and tried around the Cyprus trees. Kept changing colors and depth of my jigs, but no luck. Worked my way to Pats Bay, but by that time I was sneezing so much I thought I might fall overboard and drown.

I don't know if you can see the map, but the red dot is Jack millers. I go west from there, go almost all the way to the levee, take the canal south to Pats Bay.
