Default Our First Lake Claiborne Trip 1/20/13

Jim, Rudd, some other friends, and myself decided to make a trip over to Lake Claiborne from West Monroe to see what it was all about. We had a great time and caught some good fish. Lots of boats and conversations. We fished by the dam and fished really deep. Jim and I fished in the same boat and caught 29(28 in pic with one left in live well). We figured there were alot of the Crappie.com guys out there with us but couldnt put any names with the faces. We were in a Camo War Eagle with a 25 Evinrude E-Tech. Here are some pics of our fish below with the chest about a quarter full of ice.

OMG !! that's either a small ice chest or some monster crappie. How much did that one on the end of the table weigh?

Nice catch! WTG! Thanks for the pics.

I only fish on days of the week that end with
a "Y" ...and then, only if it's raining or not.

He was a stud, some of the others were also! Never weigh any fish, just measure them and then use long or short blades!

I've spent the last few months chasing deer and duck. Went duck hunting this morning and wish I had gone fishing. I have to work the boat show next weekend and I'll be out of town the weekend after that but I'll get on them soon. Save me some
