Default Looking for a Jig Pole?

If you are ever looking for a strong jig pole. Don't ever hesitate in getting a Sam Heaton. I use a 11' and look what I caught today on it. 50" flathead catfish using a 1/8 oz jig with a BG cajun cricket. Oh by the way we did manage to get 25 slabs today also.

I wanted to just put it in the floor. We were in Marcus' boat not mine. Yea the rod locker would have held it..
It took about 25 min to get it in. 8 lb test

I think it's about time for Marcus to go back to work . I cought a 8lb blue spider rigging, boy did he make a mess in a hurry, that one would have everything tangled.

Ive got the same rod and am glad it can handle the big kitties when they decide to bite. It takes me long enough to get a #20lb blue in on a PST with 10# mono so I can imagine the fight yo had on that lighter Sam Heaton. Awesome fish!

Good thing Marcus didn't catch that with his BUM(Ha Ha) shoulder. He would crying for another month off work. Ha Ha.
I guess you figured out that I didn't go either day.
