Go over to Jerry Blake's site and see what the report has been the last few days. You can google it, it's called Acton Fishing Adventures. They usually post up to date info and photos. Good luck and catch a bunch.

Hey I'm headed to Greeson in the morning. Anybody got any good tips on Greeson? Not sure what color to start with. I was gonna fish the fish shelters that are shown on the lake map to start. Any help would greatly appreciated.
Thanks James.![]()

I have heard tipping jigs with minnows works really well there.

I can't say I have ever done well there with jigs. Small rosies have always been the ticket. As Slab Junkie sez, study Jerry's report. If you are lucky enough to catch him on the water, he will show you what he is doing. Just tell him DP said so. Just about every point has a brush pile on it. Your best bet is to hire Jerry or one of his "staff" to take you out one morning. This is a very imtimidating lake without some guidance.

I met Jerry this morning. He was great and even hooked me up with some rosies this morning. You are correct this lake was tough. I go skunked this morning. I had a great time but found out I have a lot to learn. This is not like dropping a jig around Cypress knees at all. But I appreciate all the help. I will be hiring Jerry and crew soon.
Jerry is a great guy. He will take you out, show you how to catch fish, and then turn you loose and you can catch fish that afternoon, or the next morning. I do that about 2-3 times a year.
