    Is anyone catching ring perch? Size, location etc...

    Curious to what yer calling a ring perch? I know what a yellow perch is, that it?

    we call them ring perch or yellow perch. sorry about that

    Nuttin to be sorry about. I just like knowing the different names some fish get. Them are some tasty lil buggers. We fished for em a lot when I was a kid on vacation to Michigan every summer.

    Loved catching them from Lake Michigan and some of the other smaller lakes in NW Indiana when i was growing up

    We have some in the occoe river, tansi lake and cumberland state park. I caught some a few years ago on lake tansi while on vacation.

    should be getting good about now. i think they eat best of all the fish. I like the way they fillet, skin like a walleye's.
