Thread: question about Cherokee

I am currently active duty stationed in the Nashville area. My chief is going out to Cherokee to fish with his father who just moved out there. He asked me about what I knew about crappie out that way. I have no idea so figured this would be best place to ask and get him some ideas and help on the lake. Thanks guys

I normal fish for crappie in german creek and rays creek, useing minnows under a bobber I can catch 4 or 5 normal good quality. I would say it would be fair to say that cherokee is better for size than quanity or at least for me.
Bass fishing should be getting really good in another month or so when the water warms and the water comes up in the brush.
