Fished the fox lake over the weekend first time there and had a great time. we stayed at Hayes Resort nice people and good food also ate lunch at boat house bar also nice place. We caught 80 crappie and I have never seen crappie as meaty as the ones we caught. Just about every fish was 10 inches and ranged from 1/2 lbs to 3/4 lbs. Caught most fish in 17 ft of water about 8 inches to a foot off of the bottom. Lots of fisherman on the lake counted 55 boats on Sat. Caught one walleye only 17 7/8 inches as far as we could stretch him so he went back in also caught a nice big northern 331/2 inches put him back as well. We had 2 1/2 days of perfect weather mid 70's and no wind. Thanks Wi.
