It went from the shore to about about 5 feet deep under the longest limbs. I think the fact that it was rocky under the tree is what really drew in the bass since dark rocks retain heat better. There was better structure near by but it was hard bottom with no rocks to warm the water around it. The cutts love shallow wood more than bass lol. You can catch them on a jig or spinner on just about any shallow brush.Quote:

Your right about the cutthroat. Theres a beaver dam on lake margaret that we catch them off of when we used to bass fish up there.

thanks for the help again it is going to be our (Urban and I) only chance, we well see what we can get, but i looks like we will be fighting the wind again.
