you don't need minnows anyway. all you need to catch crappie in washington is 1/64oz, 1/32oz, and 1/16oz tube jigs and sometimes curly tails or hair jigs. but 90% tubes. always tipped with a couple maggots or crappie nibbles.Quote:

bpm2000 - Fred Meyer actually carries maggots. Quickest place for me since there are not many choices for bait/gear on the East Side.

Huh I dont ever recall seeing maggots @ GI Joes, guess I'll check again. They kinda gross me out though hehe.
maggots > worms, crickets, nibbles, mealworms, other jig tippers? What have you guys had the most success with? I'm guessing since the piece is so small its more about the flavor/scent than the action at all yea?
