I did very well on Saturday night on Union. My dang night lights where acting up though. I need to find a higher quality set of lights asap. Anyway, caught some smaller crappie out in 40 feet water...down around 15-16 feet. Couldn't find anything big to save my life so I moved on. Went down to the south end and bagged two nice largemouths to the applause of all the drunks coming out of the clubs around 1am:p . Then I tried some areas I've never really fished from the boat. Found some very, very interesting structure with schools of fish sitting on some STEEP drop offs. I'm talking about humps that go from 12' to 45' in less than a 25 foot stretch of water. I don't know if they were kokes or small chinooks (they had sea lice on them:confused:) ) but they were killing my glow jigs along those slopes. I'll post a pic later...need someone to ID what they were.
I knew that I should have gone out...
Here's a pic of one of those fish from saturday night. Looks like a small chinook to me :confused:. I tossed them all back since I wasn't sure just what they were.
