I'm always out there in my Hobie Kayak and I've seen a few pontoons out. I'll take the babies, cuz I take my son out on the yak with me. Any fish catching is good for kids!! Maybe we can meet up and see what we can do some day?

Well, thinking of working Alder Lake and hunt and search till I find em. If people have caught them there you would think a person could locate and catch some real nice ones. If all the fishing pressure is for trout then there has to be some good ones. Will give report if I get lucky but plan to do a lot of searching.
Hit Alder today and I know I found them according to my fish finder. They were suspended out away from the banks. Couldent get a bite to save my life. Really dont know why the state has a problem with live minnows or using more than one pole but think I could have done better but just wasnt happening today. Could of, should of or what maybe the cold front in this morning but couldnt get a bite. Hope someone else has better report
Kool , Are your kayaks orange . I saw a gentleman loading two on his truck a few days ago about 6 or 7 in the evening. As far as the babies it's going to take 6 to make a Slab !Lol !!! Take your son along the left side of the boat launch , he should be entertained 4 a little bit !! Lol !!! If you see a white lightning I'm on the Prowl !!!!!
Man , I've never fished Alder but I have heard they are out there. Supposedly the Crappie are biting at Hart's !!! Lol
They are biting at Harts, I caught about 30 and they wouldn't fill a 2 gallon bucket. Lots of very small fish, it was nice to be into some crappie though....
Kool , I had the same problem at OHOP !!!! Lol
Lol !!!! So True
I'll be heading to Potholes tomorrow morning to fish off the dock. I might rent a boat and try for some walleye early in the morning off Goose Island in areas I've caught walleye. Supposedly the crappie fishing is getting better off the dock so I'll report back to say what I got. If anything, the perch will be there, I went there last month one day and caught nice perch, most around 9 inches but got some up to 12 inches fishing off the dock. Seems like the underwater stuff they put into Potholes might be working with the project they had started years ago. They've been talking about the perch being a nuisance while people have been trying to walleye fish with worm harness setups.
I also tried going up to the spillway off the ORV road from Moses Lake to the upper part of Potholes the day after 4th of July. The first spillway which is good for crappie had no drawdown or water flowing so the crappie were nonexistent in the spot I've caught crappie. The second spillway had water flowing through and ended up catching three smallmouth, largest was about 16".
