Any updates on your adventures?
Us folks here on the west side may want to come over there and try some of the better lakes too.

Due to health issues our budget has been seriously impacted. Unfortunately gas money for fishing trips was one of the first places where we had to tighten our belt. So I haven't been able to travel for fishing. Newman Lake is fairly close though, and after the first of the month I may be able to give it a try. Best laid plans huh?

I can sure understand that, we just went through a scary issue here too. My wife had a pulmonary embolism (blood clots in the lungs) out of nowhere.
Life can change in an instant. Now that she is off the oxygen bottle and only has to go to the doctor once a week, we are hoping to get out too.

We do have a lot on our plate right now. We're dealing with my wife's emergency room visits for atrial fibrilation. The six nerve ablations in her lower back. And in September, she's scheduled for a hip replacement. We're coping with a lot of character building in our household.

Wow you sure do, I sure hope it all gets under control. We will add you to our prayers. Sounds like you have a positive attitude through it all. If we ever get over that way to fish, I will keep you up to date.
