hooked two trout out there today, landed one, both were very nice fish at least by my standards, the one i lost jumped about 3 feet out of the water and came off, the one i kept also jumped but i had it hooked really well so it didn't come off
great!!!!!!!!!!! that is exciting news, If he can get some that means i might! sat we are doing it!!!!!
i am in for an all dayer on saturday! can't wait to eat at ivars and catch some trout crappie and perch which i couldn't find today, little bit of a headscratcher there but o well i don't got electronics

I'll be out on Saturday. We're doing a little coho fishing in the am then launching out on the big lake around 5pm. Did a little recon mission lastnight since I had to perform downtown anyway. I think I may have found a new crappie hole that I'd never seen before. Have to check it out and see. Tight lines fellas.Quote:

Earlier than I should have gone. It was DEAD today, nobody was catching them. Next rain should be good though.

I have done very well down at silver but i was not able to make it done this year.:( But there is a very good population of crappie down there not many big ones but there are a few, I was not able to get the bass though that is a lake I have not been able to figure the bass out, but there will be more times.
Nice smallie where did you pluck that from?
I did guide on Silver for bass and crappie for more than 10 years and I know of a spot or two that holds big crappie(most over one pound and lots over 1.5lbs) (in late October) .
As for Bass, If I can be of any help just yell. One of the biggest tips for Silver is be on the lake before first light. Rocks early can be HOT. Best month to fish silver is October (last 3 weeks of Oct. is crazy!!!)

those are some nice fish, it sounds like I should be fishing with you, I plan on pulling a few of those big smallies out of Lake washington this year but we will see what happens, welcome aboard!
