Man I got it bad, and as soon as this snow and ice gets out of here I'm gonna try them walleye on Spring River here in Ar. about 4 miles from my house.
I been living here over a year and haven't fished for them, but I got a friend that fishes the river here, and he told me about the big walleye he's caught here.
I spoke with a wildlife officer about the Spring River walleye, and he says it is very possible the next state record might come from Spring River, and get this the area where my friend is fishing in one the deep holes there.
Needless to say that got my attention. They were starting to bite pretty good before all the real cold weather and snow moved in.
So...I'm reading everything I can on the walleye to learn how to fish for them.
