    Default slow day at the nottaway


    got there at sunup and stayed til130 1 crappie 4 brim largest 1lb and 2 that couldnot even pull the cork under the water 2 large cats both over 5lbs and a striper about 6lbs. by the way crappie was a whopping 5 inches long. all caught on minnows pulled jigs and nothing cast the shore the same all got in water over 10 ft not sure how deep. wasn't paying attention

    You're not alone about the slow day? Did Diascund this morning and either the fish I had been working were gone or the weather had them shut down? Hit the bushes, the deep and everything in between. Maybe 2 dozen littles ones a perch or two and 3 bass. Saw Corker pushing around and he mentioned it was slow for him also. Maybe it's the low peressure system?

    Thanks for the Nottaway report. Never fished there or its been years and thining about heading there next. The friend that want to go there says we will be putting in near the NC line? Any suggestions on which way to go or what typically works there? Type of strucker to fish, etc.....?

    Sounds like you had a couple nice fish in the mix... Congrats!

    Sounds like you had a pretty good day even though it was slow... Congrats!
