I had to work in Danville yesterday and today. On the way out I stopped by the visitor center by the dam and got my yearly parking permit. I was just a few miles from the ramp at Eastland, kinda painful to not have my boat with me. Then of course, I pass over Rudds, Sandy, and Buffalo on the way out to Danville. It sure stinks to not be able to stop and fish. I spent the night in Danville and got to do the drive by again today on the way home. It looks like I'm heading out to Danville again on Thursday. This is killing me. Is it Saturday yet?

There's a couple of places you can fish from the bank. I was out that way last year and tried it. I think Fishdoc or Ibnfishn told me where it was, I forget. It's right off of 58. You can also bank fish on the river after it leaves Buggs, and before it gets to Gaston. Hwy1 I think?
I mean it's not at all like having a boat, but it beats not fishing at all.
Do gooder since April 26, 2009!

I saw one boat fishing the old bridge at Clarksville on my way back Tuesday. I'm heading back out there tomorrow, should be crossing over near Clarksville around 10:00. The pain, the pain!
