Looking windy with intermittent catching!

Took neighbor Caleb catfishing on Dec 31. The new rod and reel his dad gave him for Christmas came through with flying colors.





I’m very Blessed that his Grandma moved next door.

New Years Day was windy. But I like to try New Years if it’s not freezing.



I found some fish and some of them cooperated.



Couldn’t stand it so I took off Friday to fish on more time before it turns cold. Took brother in law and his dad yesterday, in the wind again. We had fun.



Finished up early afternoon and picked up father in law Wayne to try the hunting blind one last time this season. No deer but nice evening watch ducks in the swamp. I married an amazing woman with a wonderful family.



My year is off to a fine start. I hope yours will be good too!

I did break my favorite rod yesterday. Tried to shoot the dock while too close to it. Daggummit.

I tried Just For Men but it didn’t take. Read the fine print and I think I don’t meet the maturity level.
