Stinks!! We put in at Carey's bridge today and only got 3 redbreast using beetlespins. I think I could have done better than that if I'd just walked down the street and fished in the Portsmouth Ditch that goes to Lake Drummond. Maybe that front that came thru last night had something to do with it,

Currently a non-fishing slacker! (not for too much longer)
Well theres always next time. I had very few hard takers today, I did best with a plain jig no minnow and several were caught not knowing I had a bite.
The weather may well have had a hand in it, sure struck me as a high-pressure day.

Didn't go very far upstream and maybe a mile down. You would be alright in a canoe.Originally Posted by squirrel hunter
