Thumbs up Shoers Product Review: Presto Salad Shooter

Do you like slaw with yur slabs? Tired of grinding hide off yur knuckles slidin cabbage back & forth over a shredding mandolin? Just plain too lazy to defoliate yur fingertips on a grating bell?

Introducing the Presto Salad Shooter. It slices & shreds but does not dice or do julienne fries. $21 at yur friendly local WalMart. I personally field-tested my new model this evening and it shredded green & red cabbage, and carrots with ease. It sliced cucumbers just as well. It is very easily disassembled for cleaning and is the state-of-the-art in operating simplicity. If there would be one drawback it would be the small quantity it is capable of processing. The feed hopper is 2X2" so you must cut yur produce accordingly small and work with small amounts at one time. If you are not in the commercial slaw business and just an occasional maker of slaw on a family/friends scale it is
perfectly suited. I would not recommend it, however, to make slaw for the national convention of the NRA. Or the Daughters of the American Revolution for that matter.

I have already been bombarded with people asking if this unit does indeed "shoot" salad. The answer is a resounding NO. You can't spray a passing cat with a short burst. Won't be of use chasing off burglers. It is more of a salad dribbler but hey, the punk does the job.

YES its AS SEEN ON TV
    YES its made by RONCO
NO you dont get any steak knives for buyin one.
