My family and myself have considered a trip to one or both of these lakes in the late summer or early fall. I was wondering about the crappie fishing there that time of year, are these lakes known for a good average of big fish, good numbers or tough for a new guy to find fish on. We get to take one trip a year and are looking for a place with good numbers and possible whoppers in the mix, just curious if we are heading to a good place for this to take happen.
