I am wanting to start crappie fishing this year after being a flat head catfish fisherman for years. I really wanted to start last year but the weather and river level's have really made it difficult.

So If I want to add the best eating fish to my freezer in the Lynchburg area (can be anywhere like Monican Park, or Big Island) I am open for ideas. I know I have to retire my big rods but I can do that....
