Very nice. It's always good to catch crappie, but when you use something of your own it's even better.

Nice bobbers. I am new to slip bobbers, and converted a few regular pencil clip-on bobbers to slip bobbers and after a few failures with my stop knot, really like the idea of being able to maintain a certain depth. My problem is that with the hook at the end of the line, unless the water is smooth the fish clean off the hook before I realize it is a bite. Has anyone tried rigging the line as a drop shot, but fishing it as a slip bobber rig? Would this increase or decrease the bobber action and make the hook more stable to indicate a bite?
