    Default A fishing report

My daughter and I hit two Suffolk lakes yesterday hoping to get in on some crappie catching. Tough day. We fished from the surface to 20 FOW and couldn't find anything consistent. Not a single keeper was caught. We managed about 20 crappie and a few other species for 5 hours of effort. Jig size was the only consistent factor as they wanted the 1/16 oz. head. Color was irrelevant, they didn't really want anything we had. We had fun though and that's the important part.

I haven't been. Been busy at the beach, holding off the waves. Will post up a report the next time I go. Maybe the first week in August when my 3 grandkids come to visit.

Fishing has been good for me but that will come to a halt on the 27th when I have a knee replacement, I will be out of action for a few months.
