got on the lake (Buggs) week ago thursday, first time in bout 2 weeks, took an old buddy that i hadnt fished with in a year or so, he'd had some health issues but doing better now...fished from 9 am till bout dark...hoped to find some flipping jigs in the shallows but shallows is hard to find.......dont know whats up but the lake level is at bout mid to late september levels...was 298.7 that morning....idk....churned a lota mud trying to find some shallows with some cover in it...only caught dinks when when we could find a spot to fish...went to checking piles then and marked quite a few fish on some in 20 fow but could only catch 1 white perch so guessing that's what they was....finly bout 6 went to checking some in 8-10 fow & finally found enough keepers to make him a mess....got 8 from 11" to his pb at 1 lb 10 oz...fun stuff...need to get back...he was all smiles....
