whats up fellows? Hope everybody is doing good and catching some fish! Dont know how it fell thru the cracks me posting or checking in here in for so long, but as ya get older things slip...lol! i looked and my last report was in July....dang - i ended up with a good last half of the summer, went couple times a week up till Labor day and boated fish every trip so no complaints...Now ive had a first for me, went to Buggs a week ago Sunday and found a few fish- first time i ever hooked the boat up & went fishing in December! fished the main lake outa OC for bout half a day, caught 25 + dinks, including some of the smallest crappies i ever had hit a jig, 2-3"....lol...but managed 6 keepers so had a mess for supper- in the 6 keepers i had 3 of the nicest fish i ever caught in 1 trip in the boat, had 3 right at 17-18", kinda slim but probly 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 lbs each......believe in the spring they'd all broke 3 lbs, maybe,... they all came off the last pile in the last 30 minuets of daylight....may not wait till March to get back into this like usual, hunting bout done for this year anyway....be a couple weeks tho before it'll be worth trying again, all this rain last 4-5 days Buggs which had been holding round 299 is up to 304.91 this morning according to COE...thats a 6 foot rise in a week....smh.....hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a has a great New Years!

Where are the pictures of those 17 & 18" fish? We would love to see them, your talking 3 lbs for sure. Nice catch Hunter.

Forgot my camera it was still in my deer hunting vest, I was gona take some with my phone when got to landing, was getting dark so I was hauling in and came up on 2 guys that had been catfishing and their motor quit on em, of course I towed em in but by time did that & got loaded I forgot about it- lol- only had 6 but wish I'd got a pic of them 3....
