I went out early morning and had another banner day. The lake was totally socked in with fog, I am glad I had my GPS. It is surpising how easy it is to lose a heading with no reference at all. Once the sun came out it lifted in one big whoosh, it was kinda wild.
I found that they didnt really want a grub although they would eat it if the school was already fired up. I found that a tube on a 1/32 was the hot poop. I used a nibble but no scent on the tube. Same colors working as have been in past weeks. Also had luck swapping the tube out for a joker. 1/16 caught them as well in deeper water.
Ended up with 40-50 from 7:30 to 11:00. A few spots had a lot of dinks but most schools seemed to be of an excellent average size. Kept 22, folks at work have been clamoring for some and I was happy to oblige. Most around 11-12". Caught another big girl, 15.5". She ate the smallest bait I threw all day. Released back into the depths. Will post pics later, have to transfer from phone. Had the wife snap a few of the keepers.
