Not many reports from the North Landing River. I think Boscoe has some top secret hot spots there. I have done best up West Neck Creek, but even then, not great numbers.

North Landing River, 7 till 10, rain yesterday morning light. 6 poles caught 1 crappie, casting I caught 2 big blue gills, 2 small bass, 20 3-4" white perch. I have a hard time finding crappie in the summer?? any suggestions? I may become a white perch fisherman.

In the summer, I have to resort to slow trolling open water. Same baby shads, but 2 rods on each side. As slow as I can troll. Usually between 1 and 2 mph. Occasionally, take out of gear to slow it down a bit. Once or twice, I found some concentrated on a lay-down, in the summer.
