Including this 14"er. Just got off the water. Started first thing this morning. The bite was non stop with 5 in a row common. Only kept them if they were 11", then shifted to 12". Never thought I would let 11 1/2" fish back. Found them feeding on top again. Just need awesome day. Started off seeing a bald eagle circling around the dock and it was there again as I came in. Wind picked up around 11 and Billy bluegill took over the bite. Estimated 60 - 70 caught today before getting chased off. All on artificials.

I believe he is referring to Diascund Reservoir just north of Williamsburg.

Nice catch Mark, were you casting jigs or trolling them?

About 5" caught 2 then left. Kept getting short strikes, not the thump from earlier

Woodduck, I ran into you shortly before you left and fished across from you. I ended up slaying them myself, caught 55 from 11 to 2pm. Most had moved a little deeper to 3-6' but i caught them top to bottom in the water column so they must have been wadded up. Cant wait to get back out there but the chances of besting that frenzy any time soon is small. See you out there!
