Got off the tug Sunday and fishing again on Monday... That's how I go!!

We fished 0930 till 1600, jigs and live bait, and we caught pretty decently all day. Majority of the bites were 6-8' deep, in 10-14 FOW. Caught a few on deep structure(20-25') as well. Caught some in the heavy wood, some around the shad, some around the bridges. Blue ice, 824, gray ghost and crawdad were the best colors, but I think we got bite on just about everything. Water was 70.5 at 10 and 72 as 1600.

We kept 10 specks and a big ringer for the table. My dad caught a 15.5" for the big crappie of the trip and set her free to make more. I caught a 25" rockfish on one of my long poles- wasn't nearly as fun as I had hoped (we were under the 58 bridges. I guess we caught 40 or so.

The tackle shop doesn't have shiners, but they do have Rosie reds... Caught a few on them, but they are really soft headed compared to shiners.

We will probably head back up on Wednesday.
