Thread: saturday afternoon 4-18

put in at Longwood & fished Grassy from bout 1 till dark- found some fish- probly caught bout 30-35 crappies, when got home & emptied the livewell i had kept 13 ranging from 11" up to the biggest at 15"- plus the usual assortment of bass & bream- thought i had a big ol cat hooked but it turned out to be a turtle- LOL! fished 2-4 fow all afternoon single rod jigging, most of the throwback crappies was on brush but the keepers was on willows the size of my leg- water ran from stained to muddy but not red muddy- temps ran from 69-74, went thru bout dozen jigs before found what they seemed to like best, 1/32 orange,chart. & white- fun afternoon-
