Went out west today to one of the city supply reservoirs. I got on fish pretty fast and landed one at 9", 6 at 11" and one at 12". That was it. My trolling motor died right after that and I didn't carry an anchor today. I tried to use the gas motor at a few stops, but it was for nothing, just too windy. I started with BGBS in Cajun cricket and caught my fish on that. I didn't get a chance to really experiment. My fish were in 2-3 FOW and I was fishing the jig under a cork. I think I could have done some damage today, but it just wasn't meant to be. By the way, it appeared all but one of the fish were male. One of the 11" fish had a gut that would lead one to believe it was full of eggs.
