this weekends catch

What can I say? This weekend was off the hook. Most fish were keepers 10" or better. Threw back 2 under 10" and 3 over 13". All on minnows fished at 3' & 4'. Fished all day Saturday, Sunday I had to stop and come back home to change out my reels. Those cheap ones that come with the combos just weren't doing the job of properly letting drag out. Went back for 3 1/2 hrs of last light and burned them up. The a.m. wasn't too productive but couldn't even try to throw a jig in the eve. Several doubles and one triple that didnt loose the fish. Once again in the yak. Im having soooooo much fun in that thing its going to be hard to go back to work. Business is starting to pick up, had 3 calls for work this weekend while out on the water. Now the hard part begins of cleaning them.

Nice, I know exactly what you mean, seems every year I have plenty of time to fish until the first week of march, the time where I need it most, it is nice to have the work but kinda bums me out to KNOW that it will be at least 4 weeks till ill have time to fish
