    You know some body is going to ask how do ya know if the deer are in estrus,but I'm not going to be the one.lol

    They look good Roy, now go and try them out. I haven't tied any in about 2 years.

    If this is your first tying with out tools woow! There are many videos on you tube and also fly tying class at little to no cost. You will only get better. Very good job.

    I tried a few myself. Also my first time. Made it from fresh doe tail and whatever I could find for thread and surprised myself. I can't find em this small so I made some in 1/16 and 1/32 jig heads. Got the idea from a YouTube video of a guy who tied his his own Bucktails and caught some huge crappie on them while ice fishing.

    Those look good also fishead. Try tying some with a little less hair for clear water. I tie a lot of 1/32 and 1/64 ounce for panfish. Also You can cast them with a fly rod. About the same weight as a tsbb shot.

    fact is i got bout a dozen cured out (Salted) deer tails if anybody wants em- several years old but look allright to me.......
    My wife swears I only do enough surveying to support my hunting & fishing because I'm too busy hunting & fishing !
