Vacation Planning Help

I'm finally planning a week of vacation around a prime crappie fishing perion on Buggs Island. What is the best month March, April, or May?
Thanks for any feedback. I'm really going to take some long overdue time off. YES!!!

How do you prefer to fish? In March we are usually titeline trollin or "spider riggin" In April we are either flatlining or shooting docks. By May we can be out on the main channel fishin brush piles, rock piles, lay downs an docks, casting an shooting. I'm very proficient at all methods, having fished Buggs for over 4 decades, check out my listing under the "VA Crappie Guides" at the top of this page.(My favorite month is November!) And take my word for it, if ya plan a wks fishing in March or April you can get wiped out by a flood or bad weather, May is more consistant, but can suffer from the same problems.

Yeah, with the crazy weather we have been having its impossible to predict the best time.

The best day to go is the next one that gets up to 50*...thats when I'm goin! caught bout 3 dozen Sun from a local hot hole lake!
