Perch....ring...yellow....anyone ever try them?

I'm looking forward to the NWR bash, but I wanna catch some before then. James, Chick, Matti, where ever. What are my options. When will enough be around to make it worth trying?

I still don't understand why a good number don't come to the fall line of Richmond. I gotta try that as soon as I hear some Mattiponi news, I'm gonna go to Richmond and do some lookning. They got to come here.

I need a fix. I like those little aggressive, spiney backed boogers.

I to would like to know what exactly goes on at the fall line. It's super close to me so I should go try. I tried the chick today and only got one school sized striper. No crappie or perch. It was a tough day in the wind. Wish I had a better report

Dayton when the perch run starts on I/T I would be glad to take you with me. you would Need a N/C permit to fish but it's only 30 bucks. The run starts around the middle of Jan but it may be good around the full moon in early Feb. If we don't find the big perch we can always fish for crappie and stripers. You can keep 3 strips and 20 crappies. This place is one of the best perch river I have ever found. I keep you informed on the catches.

I caught 5 good-sized ones on Friday, and I was trying to avoid them. They were in 6 FOW, I was trying to stay in 10'. At NW. Report at 11.
